Welcome to the Prairie Pen! Several years ago I launched the original Prairie Pen blog to showcase my love for Little House on the Prairie and all things Ingalls family and beyond. As time went on I let the blog slide but my love and interest in the historical world of Little House grew and grew. My research and digging led me to write my first novel, Docia's Diary, about the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder's aunt, Docia Ingalls Waldvogel Forbes. I have been super pleased with the moderate success of my book after I self published it on Amazon for ebook and paperback. The support of my readers has meant so much to me and has in fact spurred me on to write more.
It is my sincere hope and desire to bring more fiction and nonfiction titles out to share with you, as well as continuing to research and learn more about this awesome subject.
